Full Root-level Access in VPS Hosting
When you order a virtual private servers from us, you'll have full root-level access in three cases - if the server comes with no web hosting Control Panel at all, or when you select cPanel or DirectAdmin throughout the order process. In the first case, you can modify any part of the system from a Secure Shell console, whereas in the second, you will still be able to use SSH in order to connect and to make adjustments, but you'll also have a graphical interface accessible to take care of your online content and almost all the system settings. The root access makes our virtual server plans a very good choice in case you want to run any software which you cannot set up in a standard shared website hosting account. With the last Control Panel option - Hepsia, you will be able to connect by using SSH and to take care of the content on the hosting server, but the root access rights are more limited.
Full Root-level Access in Dedicated Web Hosting
If you select the cPanel or the DirectAdmin web hosting Control Panel, you'll have full root access to your new dedicated server, no matter which of our packages you'll pick during the signup process. Exactly the same is valid when you decide not to install a Control Panel at all. All of our servers will provide you with the option to run both very resource-demanding applications which are too heavy for a shared hosting account and apps which have certain requirements as to what the program environment on your web hosting server should be. The latter is something which can't be achieved on a shared machine, as no server-side software can be set up on it. The difference between the abovementioned choices is that without a Control Panel, server management can be done only through a console, whereas if you acquire cPanel or DirectAdmin, the majority of system settings as well as your web content will be managed via a graphical interface. When you choose Hepsia, which is the last Control Panel option on the order page, you'll have a server with restricted root access.
